Budget Blinds of Leduc & Camrose is looking for a reliable, technically skilled Installer / Project Manager to join our team. This role combines professional installation, customer communication, and sales support to ensure an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
You are the final touchpoint in the customer journey and play a key role in both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Arrive at customer homes on time; if running late, communicate with the customer before the scheduled arrival time
- Install all blinds and window coverings to Budget Blinds standards
- Troubleshoot and repair blinds on-site when possible
- Program motorized blinds and remotes
- Communicate professionally with all customers during and after installation
- Complete sales and follow-up calls, including post-install check-ins, open quote follow-ups, and answering customer questions
- Identify opportunities for additional products, upgrades, or future work and communicate them to the sales team
- 100% completion of customer installation forms
- Complete and submit remake forms before leaving the customer's home
- Take at least one photo per installation and upload it before leaving the job site
- Canvas customer homes and place yard signs where permitted
- Remove all garbage from customer homes and dispose of it at the office
- Break down recycling and leave it neatly at the customer's preferred location
- Submit a daily end-of-day report
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company van at all times
- Keep the garage, shop, and office clean and organized daily
- Assist with receiving, inventory, and product organization
Requirements
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to program motorized blinds and remotes
- Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and accountable
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- Valid driver's license (must be a clean record)
- Physically able to lift, carry, and install window coverings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
