Position Overview:

The Social Media Marketing Manager oversees and executes social media strategy for our influencer management firm, managing our Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn accounts. They contribute to the curation of engaging content for our monthly newsletters and possess a strong understanding of social media trends, an eye for compelling content, a passion for building and engaging with online communities and amplifying underrepresented voices. The Social Media Manager is also responsible for managing and creating social media content, optimizing social media platforms, community management, and developing content strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy and editorial calendar to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers across all platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and newsletters.
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content, including text posts, videos, and images, tailored to each platform's specific audience and requirements.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages, engaging with our audience to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Researching trends and new marketing opportunities, and brainstorming ideas
  • Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts, track performance, and analyze metrics to optimize content strategy and drive results.
  • Collaborate with the PR team to develop visually appealing and on-brand multimedia content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, integrating new ideas and features into our social media strategy.
  • Coordinate with PR, talent and their management teams to ensure cohesive and strategic social media collaborations and cross-promotions.
  • Manage the development and distribution of our monthly newsletters, including content curation, design, and distribution to our subscriber base.
  • Develop monthly reports on key social media metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvement to the management team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms for a brand, agency, or influencer, demonstrating a strong understanding of audience engagement and content strategy.
  • Passion for social media and influencer culture, with a keen interest in staying updated on the latest industry trends and developments.
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual aesthetics and the ability to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Social Media Management, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and Communication skills
  • Excellent Writing skills and ability to write creative and engaging social media content
  • Ability to develop and execute content strategies
  • Knowledge of Cap Cut, Canva, FloDesk, Creative Market, graphic design, and basic video editing is essential
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and newsletter distribution tools is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience in communications and/or public relations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
