Role Summary

We are looking for a data-driven and creative
Digital Marketing Specialist

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote our brand and services. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience managing multi-channel campaigns and feels just as comfortable analyzing a spreadsheet as they do writing catchy ad copy. The successful candidate
must be located in the Calgary, AB area and must be fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management:

Plan and execute web, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
- Content Strategy:

Design, build, and maintain our social media presence and strategy across all relevant platforms (LinkedIn primarily).
- Performance Monitoring:

Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Conversion Optimization:

Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Lead Generation & Outreach:

Generate high-quality leads for the sales team to follow up on and present outreach campaign ideas to the sales manager.
- Collaboration:

Work with internal teams to create digital marketing strategies and optimize the user experience.
- Market Intelligence:

Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:

2–4 years of proven working experience in digital marketing.
- Education:

Bachelor's degree, Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency:

Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ads as well as knowledge of SEO/SEM.
- Analytical Thinking:

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; ability to turn raw data into actionable insights.
- Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for copywriting and reporting.
- Self-Starter:

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Local:

Must be located in the Calgary area so you can attend in-person meetings when necessary.
- Language Skills:

Must have fluency in the English language and have excellent creative writing skills.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with marketing automation software (CRM, email automation software etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Video editing skills for social media (Reels, TikTok and LinkedIn quick videos).
  • Ability to leverage AI
