Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and bilingual (English/French) Sales Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in welding or a related field and will be confident in communicating with clients, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term relationships.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who enjoys meeting new people, understands technical products, and can bridge the gap between engineering and customer needs. Candidates with 2–3 years of sales or technical experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to deliver customized robotic and welding automation solutions.
  • Provide full project support from initial inquiry through to installation and after-sales service.
  • Actively represent the company at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Welding, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or a related field) in Canada.
  • Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a confident, outgoing personality.
  • Proven ability to proactively approach and engage potential clients.
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a technical support role (preferably in welding or automation).
  • Strong understanding of industrial or robotic automation systems is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally as required.
