Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calls, and site visits.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Project Bidding & Estimation: Coordinate with estimators and project managers to prepare proposals, quotes, and tenders.
  • Sales Presentations: Present company capabilities, services, and project portfolios to prospective clients.
  • Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and construction opportunities in target areas.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to close deals while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the construction and operations teams to ensure seamless project handovers.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and project updates in CRM or sales tracking systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the construction, contracting, or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project cycles, and estimating practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites or client meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is an asset.

Preferred Backgrounds:

  • Prior experience in commercial, residential, or civil construction sales.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, tenders, and bid submission processes.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering preferred.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly and quarterly sales targets achieved.
  • New accounts opened and retained.
  • Volume of bids submitted and conversion rate.
  • Client satisfaction and repeat business percentage.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary and Commission.
