For our Voith Turbo Canada team, we are currently searching talents for the position of:

Sales Manager, Eastern Canada 

Remote, Eastern Canada

 

Summary:

The primary responsibility of this is position is to develop and grow business within Eastern Canada by promoting and supporting Voith Turbo Industry Products and Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Sale of Voith Turbo products and services for Voith Industry Division while achieving the objectives outlined by group management
  • Develop and implement Sales and Growth Strategies to increase business within the assigned territory
  • Develop new customers including repair and service of competitor products
  • Promote sales of spare parts, services and complete units including retrofit opportunities.
  • Work with Focus Sales on New Business Opportunities
  • Work with Consulting Engineers to specify Voith Products into Projects
  • Identification of Voith installed base
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Upkeep of SalesForce database
  • Provide field support for service department at customer site
  • Customer Maintenance and Outage Planning
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Field Service, Retrofit and Engineering departments to support service activities, project management, and quoting
  • Participate at trade show exhibits
  • Assist in overdue invoice collection as requested by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Fluent in English and French

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Extensive knowledge of Eastern Canada territory

Education and Experience: 

  • 7-10 years related experience with Rotating Machinery products & services.
  • Hands on experience in mechanical power transmission equipment, service and retrofits sales
  • Technical Degree from a college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Requirements:

Travel approximately 40% to 50% of time (International / Domestic) for Customer visits, training, and internal meetings
