We are expanding and seeking a skilled Family Therapist who is passionate about strengthening family systems and providing high-quality therapeutic support.

Position Overview

The Part-Time Family Therapist will provide direct clinical services to families, couples, and individuals using evidence-based interventions. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively, communicates effectively, and thrives in a warm, client-centered environment. This role offers flexible scheduling, administrative support, and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy using evidence-based modalities.
  • Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation in accordance with agency and ethical guidelines.
  • Maintain a caseload of 3-5+ clients per week (based on agreed-upon schedule).
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, case managers, and community partners as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, consultations, and trainings.
  • Ensure services are delivered in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed manner.
  • Uphold confidentiality and all ethical standards of the profession.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Active licensure or license-eligible status.
  • Experience working with families, children, and/or couples.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture.

Preferred:

  • Experience with evidence-based family therapy models (e.g., EFT, CBT, Structural/Strategic Family Therapy, EMDR, etc.).
  • Training or experience with trauma-informed approaches.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time: approximately [10–20] hours per week (flexible).
  • Afternoon, evening, or weekend availability a plus.
  • Competitive pay based on licensure and experience.
  • Sub-contractor status.
  • First year of individual contractor insurance paid for.
