The Role

We're seeking an experienced and hands-on
Maintenance Manager
to lead our maintenance team and ensure our operations run safely, efficiently, and reliably. In this role, you'll supervise the Maintenance Supervisor and skilled trades staff, manage preventive maintenance programs, support capital projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. This is a key leadership position where your expertise will directly contribute to operational excellence and the ongoing growth of our business.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, including the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Over see the Implementation and maintenance a Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program.
  • Oversee contractors and capital projects
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, equipment performance, and product quality.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and optimize resources to drive cost-effective operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Skilled Trade (Millwright, Electrician) or Engineering Diploma preferred
  • 5–10 years' experience in maintenance leadership preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs, Lean Manufacturing, and capital project management.
  • Proficient in CMMS, MS Office, and other maintenance software.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and safety-focused approach to leading a team.
