The Opportunity:

Our client, a leading international manufacturer, is seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor
to join their team in
Windsor, Ontario
. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and team development to support efficient, continuous production on the day shift.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Developing and managing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) plan, including budget control
  • Implementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors for parts, tools, and maintenance services
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Leading by example, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of accountability and growth
  • Enforcing company policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
  • Delegating maintenance assignments to internal staff and third-party contractors

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holding a Journeyperson trades certificate (433A or 442A), preferably with Red Seal Endorsement
  • Possessing a college/university diploma or equivalent technical education
  • Bringing 3+ years of experience in steel manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Thinking proactively and acting with initiative under pressure
  • Showing mechanical aptitude, creativity, and problem-solving ability
  • Experienced with ISO 14001 Quality Systems
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Profit Key and Dayforce considered an asset
