Position Title: Restaurant Server

Status: Part time

Hours: Shifts will vary depending on operational requirements and include weekends and holidays

Duties:

  • Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests using suggestive selling techniques
  • Delivering trays, setting/clearing tables
  • Control guest checks and secure proper payment
  • Ensure station and table set-ups are complete
  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area
  • Greeting guests
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • This position involves standing and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Ability to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Previous serving experience required
  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • Must possess basic computational ability
  • Must be able to multitask, and handle stressful situation
