RQ09993 - Solution Architect - CRM - Senior

Scope:

• Architecting the Ontario Police Arbitration and commission (OPAC's) case management solution based on Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics)
  
• Modernization of OPAC website (WordPress) on Azure platform.
  
• Development of OPAC solution (MS Power Platform - Dynamics)
  
• Work with the project team, support team and partners in enhancing the IOP Portal. 
  
• Assessing new needs from the business partners
  
• Design enhancements for RTD (Microsoft Dynamics Solution).
  
• Design enhancements for IOP
  
• Ongoing support for IOP
  

Deliverables:

• Ongoing Development & Deployments (Code and Test)
  
• Architectural and Design Documentation
  

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Extensive experience (minimum) 10 years in design & development on Microsoft Power Platform and/or Microsoft Dynamics
  
• Hands-on, in-depth understanding and practical knowledge of Azure technologies, Microsoft Power Platform (including but not limited to Power Pages, Power Apps, Model-driven apps), .NET, DevOps, and CRM tools like MS Dynamics.
  
• Experience in Service-oriented architecture, object-oriented design, and user interface development 
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience leading the architecture design from conception through implementation. 
  
• Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures at the specified experience level.
  
• Extensive experience with at least various platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols Experience with middleware and gateways.
  
• Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments.
  
• Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, and implementation of applications.
  
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments.
  

Mandatory Requirements: 

• Extensive experience (minimum) 10 years in design & development on Microsoft Power Platform and/or Microsoft Dynamics
  
• Hands-on, in-depth understanding and practical knowledge of Azure technologies, Microsoft Power Platform (including but not limited to Power Pages, Power Apps, Model-driven apps), .NET, DevOps, and CRM tools like MS Dynamics.
  
• Experience in Service-oriented architecture, object-oriented design, and user interface development 
  

Extensive Experience (10+ years):

• leading the delivery and design of architecture in collaboration with project implementation activities 
  
• developing baseline architectures, API and integration models, data mapping from data base fields to APIs
  
• working directly with clients to effective working relationships, obtain buy-in for systems design and development, promote design and architecture options of systems to stakeholders, to obtain decision making.
  
• Knowledge and experience creating solution architecture documentation.
  
• provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders, management, and staff regarding most effective design, architecture, and system implementation strategies.
  
• Experience in Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics
  
• provide guidance and training to project teams on design, architecture, and project implementation activities
  

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodologies
  
• Hands-on, in-depth understanding and practical knowledge of Azure technologies, Microsoft Power Platform (including but not limited to Power Pages, Power Apps, Model-driven apps), .NET, DevOps, and CRM tools like MS Dynamics.
  
• Experience in Service-oriented architecture, object-oriented design, and user interface development 
  
• Expert knowledge of developing APIs and web services.
  
• Expertise in the delivery of project and baseline architecture, including Business and Information architecture domains, IT strategies, enterprise architecture principles/methodologies/ Frameworks and guidelines for Enterprise Architecture artifacts/processes
  
• Knowledge of business process & data modeling, analysis, re-engineering and architecture.
  
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
  
• Knowledge of both low code development and custom development on Azure
  
• Preparation of overall architecture solutions, conducting walkthroughs, reviews and assessments, and analyzing the technical and business impact, product integration, enhancements, infrastructure capacity, development and deployment, data distribution, integration and access
  

Communication, Consultation and Collaboration Skills:

• Strong communication skills to prepare documentation, including but not limited to solution documentation, reports, reviews, assessments
  
• Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a user-friendly manner; maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
  
• Ability to communicate designs and development in a clear and understandable manner
  
• Provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders, management, and staff regarding the most effective design, architecture and system implementation strategies, enabling ministry business/programs to achieve targeted strategies and objectives
  

Public Sector Experience:

• Experience working in Ontario Public Service on Microsoft CRM solutions.
