About the Role

We're looking for a senior
Solutions Architect
with deep experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions in the retail and wholesale domain. This role is hands-on: you'll be defining solution architectures, building migration strategies, and guiding teams across integration platforms and enterprise applications.

You'll work closely with subject matter experts, architects, and business leaders to translate business needs into practical technology solutions. The work spans multi-cloud environments, retail platforms (SAP, Blue Yonder, Adobe, Pega, GK, Opterus), and integration technologies like MuleSoft and Kafka.

This is a high-impact role where you'll shape how technology investments drive business outcomes while staying close to design and delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Develop solution architectures (conceptual, logical, and physical) in collaboration with SMEs and architecture peers to enable new capabilities and operating models
  • Define high-level migration plans that bridge current and future state architectures, aligned with IT budgeting and planning cycles
  • Build production-ready reference implementations that can be adopted by agile teams
  • Guide technology investment decisions based on analysis and evaluation of trends and business needs
  • Lead solution input into projects, ensuring architecture decisions support scalability, resilience, and business goals
  • Identify cultural and financial impacts of technology changes across skills, processes, and structures
  • Support governance activities to ensure projects and solutions meet standards and align with long-term architecture goals

Must Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Information System Design in large, complex enterprises
  • Hands-on experience designing large-scale distributed solutions in hybrid, multi-cloud environments
  • Strong experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Confluent Kafka)
  • Proven expertise in enterprise retail/wholesale platforms such as SAP, Blue Yonder, Adobe, Pega, GK, Opterus
  • Deep knowledge of retail systems including Merchandising Management, Sales Audit, Core Financials, Promotions Management, CRM
  • Demonstrated experience defining migration strategies, solution roadmaps, and reference implementations
  • Skilled in evaluating and adopting new technologies to support business outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, or ITSM processes
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
