Role Description
We're looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive revenue growth by selling Managed Services, QA Automation, and Professional Services in the contact center / CCaaS space.
Responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and creating strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement growth initiatives, conduct market analysis, and develop tailored proposals. Additionally, the role involves representing Connex in industry events, identifying market trends, and staying informed about the latest in communication technologies to ensure clients receive advanced solutions.

What you'll do:
• Build and execute sales strategies to penetrate regulated and enterprise markets
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, research, and industry events
• Develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers
• Lead solution-based selling across Managed Services, QA Automation, and Professional Services
• Own proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations
• Track performance, adjust strategy, and consistently hit revenue goals
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to ensure client success
What we're looking for
• 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the
contact center / CCaaS space
• Experience selling into
telecom, banking, insurance, credit unions, or government (federal/provincial)
• A proven ability to close deals and generate
$2-3M annually
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
