Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated IMG Clinical Assistant to join our Telehealth team. The ideal candidate will support clinical staff by providing essential patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable hospital experience and contribute to patient well-being in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Support patients by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and addressing basic questions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and treatment details
  • Help coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules
  • Follow infection control protocols and uphold hygiene standards within the clinic
  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Skills

  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist where needed within the clinic setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.91-$24.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hamilton, ON L8M 1H9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Language:

  • Arabic, preferred but not required (preferred)
