About Us

At Afiya Spine and Pain Institute, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive pain management services with compassion, professionalism, and evidence-based interventional treatments. We are seeking a motivated Clinical Assistant / Physician Assistant (IMG) to support our multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient intake, including obtaining medical history and vital signs.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including operation of fluoroscopy equipment (training provided).
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Support documentation of patient assessments and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment.
  • Provide compassionate communication and assistance to patients and families.

Requirements

  • International Medical Graduate (IMG) with clinical background or equivalent healthcare training.
  • Prior experience in pain management, interventional procedures, or outpatient clinical settings is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to safe, patient-centered care.
