About the Role

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the

Engineering Department. This role assists Engineering leadership with day-to-day operations,

coordination, documentation, and communication to ensure the department runs efficiently and

effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Provide general administrative support to the Engineering Department to support daily

operations

  • Assist Engineering management with scheduling, coordination, correspondence, and other

administrative tasks

  • Use Microsoft Planner to manage task cards, track assignments, monitor progress, and support

deadline management

  • Track project progress and follow up on action items, updates, and deliverables from team

members

  • Organize, maintain, and update electronic and paper files, records, and engineering

documentation

  • Prepare and update administrative documents, logs, trackers, and reports
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record accurate meeting minutes, including action

items and follow-ups

  • Support internal communication within the Engineering Department and coordinate with other

departments

  • Manage and distribute updates from the engineering team to relevant stakeholders
  • Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, copying, and email correspondence
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven basic office administration experience and skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Professional, reliable, and cooperative approach to work
