Lead the design and delivery of an operational intelligence platform to provide data-driven insight (KPIs, trending, forward looking metrics) to senior operational leadership, executive leadership, and others. This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to transform operational data into actionable intelligence. The position requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and data specialists to ensure the platform drives efficiency, transparency, and informed decision-making across the organization.

• Define the vision and roadmap for the operational intelligence function.
• Lead, mentor, and develop BI developers, Business Analysts, etc.
• Identify, define, and prioritize key operational metrics across business units.
• Oversee the design and implementation of a Power BI–based KPI/insight platform.
• Establish data governance standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a drive towards adoption
• Drive automation and scalability in reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior management and operational teams.
• Monitor and evaluate performance trends, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges and reporting needs.
• Deliver executive-level dashboards and reports that support strategic decision-making.
• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay abreast of emerging BI tools, data visualization techniques, and industry best practices.
• Champion the adoption of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI-driven insights where appropriate.
• Continuously refine KPIs to reflect evolving business priorities and market conditions.
• Collaborate with partners in IT, Data Flow etc.. to ensure data availability, consistency
• Respond to adhoc data requests, problems, strategic projects and insight generation for senior leaders in the firm.

• Post-secondary education/University Degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
• Professional designation preferred but not required
• Certification in PowerBI or similar tools preferred
• 10+ years in financial services, with significant experience in BI, analytics, or operational reporting.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale BI solutions.
• Expertise in Power BI, SQL, data warehousing, and data governance frameworks.
• Proven strength in communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
