Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality meals with attention to safety and presentation. Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or food service is highly valued, along with a solid understanding of food handling and safety protocols.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in menu planning and meal presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations and safety guidelines
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Support catering events by preparing dishes for large groups
  • Ensure all food is prepared efficiently and served promptly during busy hours
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth kitchen operation

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special requests
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in the food industry, including restaurant or catering experience, is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
