Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3 or 4axis depending on capability).
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
  • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary offsets or adjustments.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the work area.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize machining processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of CNC milling experience (preferably with Haas, Makino, Smart .
  • Strong understanding of G-code programming and setup procedures.
  • Experience with Fanuc / HAAS controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certificate or diploma in Machining / CNC Programming is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
