Overview

We are seeking an experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the auto body preparation and painting process, with the ability to handle various tools and techniques. Experience is required. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are our top priority.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint by sanding, buffing, masking, edging and cleaning
  • Use hand tools, power tools for surface preparation and finishing
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure proper storage of tools and materials
  • Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, use of chemicals, and operation of equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Prepper or in a similar role (required)
  • Strong knowledge of surface preparation and refinishing processes
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, buffing equipment & sanding equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles for extended periods
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Full driving license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
