Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team in Peterborough. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience that aligns with our commitment to excellent dental care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services.
  • Process patient records and manage electronic medical records efficiently.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems for incoming calls.
  • Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and Abeldent software.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is an asset.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Dental experience and administrative or office experience.
