Summary

Job Responsibilities:

Primary job duties include:

· Spotting and maneuvering of railcars/trucks for bulk receiving liquids

  • Open and close manifolds
  • Loading/offloading of bulk products

· Operate Kahler system

  • Monitor flow rate
  • Maintenance and basic upkeep

· Retrieving and opening bulk totes for bulk receiving

· Monitoring bins, railcars & bulk truck loads to ensure seamless product receiving

· Monitor screening systems in conjunction with bulk raw material screening

· Product quality awareness & inventory reporting / management

· General maintenance in yard and/or on equipment.

· General housekeeping

· Operation of rolling stock equipment, Track-mobile, Front-end-loader, Skid Steer & Fork-Truck when required

· Any other duties as prescribed by the Plant Supervisor

Education/Experience

  • Good understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment
  • Team player, good communication skills, highly organized, dependable
  • Willing to work long hours during the peak season
  • Clean driving record, 'G' license or ability to obtain
  • Forklift operation is an asset
  • DZ license is an asset
