Reporting to the Manager of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Supervisor performs various tasks related to the management of the Housekeeping team using safe work methods. He/she will supervise the work of other members periodically during the shift. In addition, he/she will coordinate and plan the activities of his/her team to ensure the smooth running of the shifts.

What you will do

  • Supervise the work of the team members by making regular rounds during the shifts and make corrections if necessary;
  • Inspect the premises as well as the lodges and facilities to ensure compliance with the norms and standards of cleanliness in effect;
  • Participate in the management of schedules and planning of shifts.
  • Communicates equipment and maintenance product needs to his/her team;
  • Control and ensure the planning of the inventories of his department;
  • Participate in the training and integration of new employees;
  • Communicate with our suppliers in case of problematic situations;
  • Communicate with our suppliers in case of problematic situations; Ensure the application and respect of the company's policies;
  • Carry out all other related tasks.

Profile required

  • High School Diploma (HSD) ;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs;
  • Knowledge of housekeeping techniques ;
  • Experience in housekeeping supervision; an asset
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and integrate safe work procedures;
  • Teamwork skills (autonomy, versatility);
  • Physical fitness: ability to work many hours on your feet and ability to lift heavy loads (approximately 50 pounds);
  • Ability to work in a noisy, hot and/or cold outdoor environment.

Work schedule

24 to 30 hours per week; schedule may vary day, evening, nights, and weekends.
