IRC was created in 1984 to represent the Inuvialuit and their rights and benefits obtained under one of Canada's oldest comprehensive land claim agreements. JOB SUMMARY
The Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) supports healthy food initiatives at the Aboriginal Head Start (AHS) and Child Development Centres (CDC) in Aklavik and Ulukhaktok. The Nutrition Support Worker role focuses on providing nutritious snacks and meals to children in accordance with Canada's Food Guide, while also promoting food awareness and education throughout these communities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Food Safety Certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Awareness and understanding of food allergies and dietary restrictions.
