Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Construction Supervisor will play a key role in managing teams, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring adherence to blueprints and schematics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of construction supervision experience
  • Local candidates preferred

Duties

  • Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently
  • Will be responsible for four + crews
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide the team effectively
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications
  • Manage project budgets by monitoring costs and assisting with construction estimating as needed
  • Oversee scheduling to ensure timely progress of projects
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings with the crew
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance productivity and skill levels

Requirements:

  • Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
  • Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction estimating techniques
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes within construction projects
