Position

We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant for our Burnaby office. This position requires working from 8 – 4PM (or 9-5PM) Monday to Friday.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Completing collections calls and emails
  • Updating billing system records
  • Processing expenses
  • Other duties to support the accounting department as assigned

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Time and Billing Software such as Billquick is an asset
  • Office or accounting work experience a strong asset but not required
  • An interest in accounting, demonstrated through enrollment in accounting studies a strong asset
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude towards customers, employees and stakeholders; Excellent knowledge of Excel and good knowledge of MS Office applications

This position is ideal for accounting students wanting to get some hands-on experience
