Please note that K1 Speed Toronto is the home base for this position. This is a 100% on site position.

**K1 Speed Canada,**North America's innovator and leader in indoor electric go karting is rapidly expanding and need top sales closers to be at the forefront of booking different types of group events from birthday parties, company functions, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team-building events, and more. We have an awesome problem of getting too many inbound calls/leads every single day of the week because our customers just love celebrating with speed.

As an Event Sales Agent, you will take inbound/outbound calls daily, selling group packages, scheduling events on the calendar, placing food orders and/or catering from our suppliers, and providing a start to finish all-in-one experience to each and every customer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You must be comfortable with fast-paced inbound and outbound sales
- You must be fluent in scheduling and coordinating details with various suppliers
- Accurate contract execution relaying specific information to each location's correct department(s)
- Handling 100+ calls per day regarding our specific locations, products and services
- Ability to accurately assess and address customer needs and concerns
- Ability to follow a sales process by using an optimized response system
- Ability to build and manage a pipeline of prospects and follow-up in a timely manner
- Consistently meet KPIs which include the number of follow-up and deal/revenue goals
- Participate in weekly Group Sales meetings
- Support the site before/during events and run Podium Ceremonies when needed
- Prospect, network and promote K1 Speed Events with potential customers and local businesses
- Duties as assigned by Management

SKILLS and/or QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-2 years Outbound/Inbound Sales experience is a must (a highly transactional background is a plus)
- Self confident in product knowledge, client relationships and closing deals
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to stay calm, positive and driven in a fast paced environment
- Team player that works well with others to strive towards a common goal
- Call center experience is a plus
- Experience with CRM, lead management platforms
- Must be coachable

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Smart Service certificate is an asset.
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- Call center: 1 year (required)
- Sales experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Front of House Restaurant experience: 1 year (preferred)

Events Management: 1 year (preferred)

$18.00 an hour plus monthly commissions. If commissions targets are achieved can make up to $60,000 a year total.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 43 per week
