Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Service Coordinator
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
We are currently seeking a motivated, and detail-oriented Administrative & Parts/Service Support team member to join our Winnipeg branch. This role is dynamic and multifaceted, combining administrative responsibilities with support for our parts, service, and shipping/receiving operations.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Process work orders and maintain accurate records
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and mail correspondence
- Collaborate with Head Office on payroll and timesheet submissions
- Maintain branch health and safety documentation in coordination with Head Office
- Contact customers with updates on parts and service status
- Prepare and submit parts estimates
- Support Service Writers with scheduling and job tracking
- Perform parts runs as required
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control tasks
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an administrative, customer service, or parts/service support role
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
- Ability to operate a forklift is considered an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with service/parts software is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle sensitive situations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation:
- Hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $25.00, based on experience.
