Essential Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, architectural drawings and electrical code specifications
  • Pulling cables and cable tray installation
  • Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, control panels
  • Install electrical systems and other related electrical equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test and fix defective circuits and ensure their integrity and safety
  • Willing to act as a mentor to apprentice Electricians

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting on a live site would be ideal
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions:

  • 14/7 working 11.5 hour days, Overtime hours after 8 hours worked per day
  • Travel allowance provided for those that are eligible
