D&D Commercial Roofing is looking for experienced roofers and to join our team. With upcoming projects throughout Alberta, we have constant work and are continually growing. We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals and are willing to work with the right candidate(s). Wage is to be based on experience and certifications.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience with SBS Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO, PVC and BUR systems

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Climb up and down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Work and communicate effectively with others
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Site mobilization
  • Stripping and disposing of old roof
  • Loading and unloading material
  • Job site clean-up
  • Lifting, carrying, and applying construction materials
  • Willingness to learn and advance within the company
  • Other duties as assigned

Abilities

  • Ability to learn and follow safety policy
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and tools
  • Ability to use powered hand tools
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Willingness to work out of town

Fall Arrest, Torch Safety, Fire Extinguisher, Standard First Aid or/and telehandler training/certification considered an asset.
