Granville Pharmacy is looking for an experienced, positive and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Granville Pharmacy is an award-winning pharmacy operation located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver with free underground parking and easy access to public transit. The pharmacy is beautifully designed with semi-private intake stations, a private consultation room and state-of-the-art automation equipment. The position is well supported by a team of experienced and dedicated pharmacy professionals. Our casual yet professional atmosphere reflects the nature of the patients we serve. We know most of our patients by name and provide service to a diverse demographic of patients.

Candidate Must Have:

  • Previous pharmacy-related experience is a requirement
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Efficient time management abilities
  • Effective organization skills
  • Computer proficiency (experience using Kroll is an asset)
  • Typing speed of minimum 30 wpm

Job Duties:

  • Assist pharmacists with daily operation of the pharmacy
  • Perform data entry of patient information
  • Maintain pharmacy inventory through the ordering and receiving
  • Blister packaging
  • Operation of PACMED
  • Assist in the preparation of prescriptions
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
