About Us

CHAT Insurance is one of Ontario's fastest-growing insurance brokerages, proudly serving over 30,000 clients with nine branches across the GTA and Ottawa. Our Commercial Lines team supports a wide range of businesses with professional, reliable, and tailored insurance solutions.

We are currently looking for a Commercial Lines Coordinator who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting both brokers and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process commercial insurance documents, applications, and renewals
  • Assist brokers with quotes, submissions, endorsements, and policy changes
  • Coordinate communication with clients and underwriters in a timely manner
  • Process certificates of insurance (COIs), binders, and invoices
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with brokerage standards
  • Track renewals and follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Provide administrative support for commercial accounts and team projects
  • Help improve workflow efficiency and support Commercial Lines initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Language Skills: English; Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
