Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a passion for hospitality. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to assist our diverse guest base. Previous hotel or front desk experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and check them in/out efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Ensure proper phone etiquette when communicating with guests and vendors
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, billing, and report generation
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or customer service roles is preferred but not required
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse guests
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices is beneficial
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$25.67 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
