Part-Time Plumbing Technician (After-Hours / On-Call)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Plumbing Technician to support our team with after-hours and overnight service calls. This role is ideal for someone with foundational plumbing knowledge who is looking to gain hands-on experience, supplement existing work, or build skills within a professional plumbing environment. You will respond to service calls independently or with guidance as needed, delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to after-hours and overnight plumbing service calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with and perform basic plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations
  • Diagnose common plumbing issues and complete appropriate repairs
  • Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Read and interpret basic layouts, diagrams, or instructions as required
  • Communicate clearly with customers and document completed work
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Support senior plumbers when required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic plumbing or mechanical experience preferred
  • Comfortable using common plumbing hand tools and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for measurements and installations
  • Ability to work independently during after-hours calls
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Completion of a Level 1 or Level 2 Plumbing College Program is an asset (but not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
