Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in food service environments. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
  • Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods, helping with meal assembly and plating
  • Follow proper food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage and sanitation practices

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles
  • Knowledge of food handling safety standards and restaurant hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards for quality and safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
