Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
  • Assist with medication intake, inventory management, and restocking to ensure the pharmacy and clinic is well-equipped at all times.
  • Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, processing prescriptions, and supporting medication administration protocols.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of medication records, patient interactions, and pharmacy activities in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Support critical care and acute care units by understanding medical terminology and assisting with specialized pharmacy tasks related to patient care.
  • Follow strict safety protocols for aseptic procedures, medication handling, and infection control to ensure patient safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication distribution and support patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Prior pharmacy technician experience or related healthcare background is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient service and patient care excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments within acute care settings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.47-$20.00 per hour
