Illustrator - Toys & Consumer Products

Opportunity:
Industry leading global licensing and product solutions agency has an immediate requirement for a fun, dynamic and accomplished Illustrator to support our Toronto team. Must have a passion for comic books, animated films, video gaming, collectible toys, and related trends.
The main focus of this role will be the development of entertainment-based, character sketches including iconic characters from the Warner Bros & DC Comics portfolios. Candidate must have attention to detail the ability to produce stunning illustrations and expressive characters. The ideal candidate will have experience in entertainment licenses, consumer products, comic books, branded merchandise, children's goods, and toys.
Someone with a personal interest in anime, comics, and fashion – street-wear brands (follows Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, etc.) would be a good fit. You will have a strong portfolio full of stylistically varied illustrations. Please check our website for examples of the items we create. Require someone with a diversity of styles, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate ideas by freehand sketching. Graphic or Product Design skills a big plus.
Must be able to work quickly and create clean, modern illustrations as well as participate in creative brainstorms. Prior agency, brand, toy, video game, or licensor experience is required.
This is a full-time role, and you must be able to work onsite at our Fashion District office.
