Opportunity:  

Award-winning toy, consumer and promotional products agency has an immediate requirement for an Analyst/Sales Coordinator to join our sales team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will a highly motivated BBA student or recent graduate with a passion for entertainment licensing, consumer products, animated films, video gaming, collectible toys, comics, fashion (streetwear brands and related trends), marketing, new trends, and brands.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales and demand planning team with forecasting & forecast analysis. 
  • Use Microsoft Excel to undertake retail sales analysis and reporting.
  • Help with business plan preparations and analysis.
  • Manage product sample inventory.
  • Arrange shipments of samples to our sales reps & distribution partners.
  • Research latest licensed consumer products, trends, and insights across platforms (in-store, social media, blog, print/digital materials).
  • Research competitors' distribution channels and products and continuously compile information about competitive new launches, advertising, and formulas. 
  • Brainstorm with the account and creative teams to develop product-based sales promotions.
  • Create meeting recaps and wrap-up documents.
  • Provide administrative support on an as-needed basis.

Requirements/Profile:

  • Current business student or recent graduate with coursework in math, computing, economics, or finance.
  • Previous sales, marketing, retail, or e-commerce experience preferred but not required.
  • Interest in sales, marketing promotions, entertainment licensing and consumer products, particularly toys.
  • Candidates should work well in a team setting.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized.
  • Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter with high energy and a strong work ethic, able to move projects forward.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Internet research savvy and advanced analytical skills required.
