Position Overview:

The QC Raw Material Inspector is responsible for the ongoing inspection of raw materials at all stages of the manufacturing process to ensure that Canada Goose quality standards are met. This role follows performance standards and procedures to meet QA department and business requirements. The ideal candidate is capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and performing tasks cross-functionally.

What You'll Do
  • Inspect raw materials throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Apply industry inspection standards, including the 4-point system.
  • Utilize general computer skills to document and report findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Adapt to a manufacturing and warehouse environment, including working around forklift traffic.
  • Lift materials up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail (e.g., shading, millimetre differences, colour reading and grading).
  • Knowledge of garment construction and inspection standards.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working under pressure.

Monday to Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
