We are a small law firm in Kimberley, BC seeking a full time Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant starting in January 2026.
About the position
- Full time, 30–35 hours per week
- Schedule can be Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday
- In-person role
Key duties
- Answer phones and greet clients
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and email
- Scan and file documents
- Maintain office and file organization
- Word processing (letters, forms, basic court documents)
- General clerical and administrative support for a busy family law practice
What we are looking for
- Prior office experience
- Law office/legal experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and good organization
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer programs
- Professional, courteous, and able to work with clients who may be going through stressful or emotional situations
Job type
- Full time, contract, maternity leave coverage (2 years)
