Patient Care Coordinator

Job Description:

Our rehabilitation clinic is seeking a motivated and dynamic Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The position requires exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with ease. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, processing billing, managing staff schedules, and coordinating the work of the clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front desk, answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records and billing information.
  • Process billing and handle insurance claims and payments.
  • Oversee laundry and cleaning duties in between appointments.
  • Manage staff schedules and assign tasks as necessary.
  • Spearhead development and training initiatives.
  • Assist practitioners as needed during busy clinic hours to support efficient patient Care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with patients and staff
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with Universal AntiBex and Jane software is considered an asset
