SHOWCASE OUR VITALITY

The Campbellton Regional Community (CRC) is seeking a committed and versatile Economic Development Lead to support its local initiatives. With a rich history and a forward-looking vision, the CRC focuses on business vitality, investment attraction, and improving citizens' quality of life.

COULD YOU BE OUR EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATE?

We are looking for someone passionate about economic development and the future of communities. You will mobilize local stakeholders, build strong partnerships, and transform priorities into concrete projects that directly improve quality of life.

Your ability to connect and seize opportunities will make you an AMBASSADOR of the vitality of the Campbellton Regional Community.

Requirements
HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

You will report to the Economic Development Committee, which sets priorities and evaluates performance, while maintaining a functional link with General Management for policies and administrative compliance. You will turn priorities into action: coordinate approved projects, prepare analyses, and ensure follow-up.

You will work closely with the Economic Development Committee and stakeholders to identify local needs, capture opportunities, and propose practical solutions. You will play a key role in major projects, such as housing rehabilitation and development to support population growth.

You will also enhance the Community's attractiveness by supporting investors and facilitating their integration into the local ecosystem. In short, you will make a difference by creating synergies among economic actors, maximizing the positive impact of local initiatives, and contributing actively to the vitality and visibility of the Campbellton Regional Community.

WHAT YOU BRING

As the ideal candidate, you hold post-secondary education in economic development, administration, finance, land-use planning, or a related field, or you bring an equivalent combination of education and experience. You also have proven experience in project coordination and monitoring, demonstrating strong organizational and planning skills.

You can prepare solid briefing materials and deliver clear analyses that support effective decision-making. Recognized for your strengths in collaboration and communication, you demonstrate diplomacy and the ability to synthesize information in your interactions with elected officials, committees, and economic partners.

With a strong understanding of local and regional economic realities, you can translate community needs into concrete actions that foster demographic growth, strengthen business vitality, and enhance the attractiveness of the territory. Finally, your bilingualism in French and English is an essential asset that enables you to represent the community effectively with stakeholders and partners.

By joining our team, you will bring commitment, professionalism, and a positive contribution to the economic vision of the Campbellton Regional Community.

WHY HAVE OTHERS JOINED THE TEAM?
  • Contribute to the economic transformation of a growing community.
  • Directly impact projects that improve residents' quality of life.
  • Support sustainable community development and residents' well-being.
  • Grow your skills in a diverse and rewarding role.
  • Benefit from competitive working conditions and a meaningful mandate.
