You Have:

  • You self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis)
  • Studies specializing in health or Indigenous-related studies
  • Strong research, analysis, and writing skills, with attention to Indigenous Knowledge Translation (IKT)
  • Experience working with Indigenous Peoples and organizations
  • Familiarity with cultural safety training and advocacy strategies
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesize Indigenous-informed recommendations for CMA's research and policy initiatives
  • Perform environmental scans to identify advocacy opportunities that advance Indigenous health
  • Contribute to knowledge translation on Indigenous relations, knowledge systems, cultural contexts, and wise practices for decolonial approaches in health care
  • Support relationship-building with Indigenous organizations and partners

The posted range of pay rates is a guideline for this position. Actual pay will depend on your year or level of study and whether you've previously worked in a student role with CMA. The CMA and the CMA Group of Companies (CMA Foundation and CMA Impact) has hybrid as well as remote workers across Quebec and Ontario. The Enterprise works in partnership with stakeholders and counterparts nationally across Canada. Due to the nature of the work performed for this position, the incumbent is required to communicate with colleagues in Quebec, Ontario and/or other provinces in English. Proficiency in French is an asset, but not a requirement of this role.
