Description: Nortak Software is currently seeking Business Consultants with the following qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience undertaking economic and environmental analyses related to characterization, performance measurement and forecasting of pollution and/or materials management
  • At least five years of analytical experience related to the plastics sector which include analysis across the plastics lifecycle, including production, manufacturing, use, end-of-life management, recycling, environmental impacts, or related policy and regulation. Other related sectors may also be considered, such as broader waste management, pollution prevention, chemicals and contaminants, and the circular economy.
  • At least three project profiles demonstrating the experience
  • At least three samples of substantive work (e.g., reports or parts thereof) completed within the last five years for government entities and/or corporations
  • Experience with document review and analysis
  • Experience with environmental and socio-economic analysis, including gender-based plus analysis where relevant, and forecasting
  • Experience with both primary and secondary data collection
  • Experience with Canadian data parameters and standards, such as those used in the PFAPM and Federal Plastics Registry
  • Valid Government of Canada Secret Level II security clearance granted by CSP/PSPC

Rated Requirements:

  • Experience with economic and environmental analysis and measurement related to the plastics sector, material flows, value recovery and/or end-of-life management (e.g. waste management and recycling), and pollution characterization
