Responsabilités :
- Travailler de manière autonome à titre de responsable santé et sécurité sur le plancher de l'usine, en supervisant l'élaboration, la mise en œuvre et le suivi des programmes, politiques et mesures de conformité en matière de santé et sécurité, en accord avec les normes internes et les exigences réglementaires.
- Gérer les relations de travail en lien avec la santé et sécurité au travail.
- Offrir un soutien continu aux gestionnaires et aux employés concernant les enjeux de santé et sécurité.
- Participer aux enquêtes d'incidents, aux audits de sécurité dans l'usine, et à la mise en place de mesures correctives et de protocoles d'urgence.
- Animer des séances de formation pour les employés sur les thèmes de la santé, de la sécurité et de l'environnement.
- Saisir et maintenir à jour les données liées à la santé et sécurité dans les systèmes informatiques.
- Effectuer des inspections de l'équipement, des outils et des installations afin de détecter les risques potentiels ou les manquements à la conformité.
- Consulter les règlements et les meilleures pratiques actuelles en matière de santé et sécurité.
- Réaliser des évaluations des conditions de travail et de l'environnement.
- Rédiger des rapports détaillés sur les incidents et la conformité, incluant les documents requis pour les autorités gouvernementales (ex. : CNESST).
- Présider le comité de santé et sécurité du site.
- Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe visant à maintenir un environnement de travail sécuritaire.
Qualifications et expérience :
- 2-3 ans d'expérience dans un poste en santé et sécurité, idéalement en milieu manufacturier.
- Certificat en santé et sécurité du travail.
- Connaissance des normes BRC ou ISO (un atout).
- Bilingue (français et anglais).
- Aptitudes marquées pour le leadership et le coaching.
- Attitude dynamique, professionnelle et axée sur les solutions.
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles, en communication et en rédaction.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.
- Expérience dans la gestion de dossiers CNESST ou d'un organisme équivalent en santé et sécurité au travail.

Job Responsibilities:
- Operate autonomously as the on-site Health & Safety lead, overseeing the development, implementation, and follow-up of safety programs, policies, and compliance measures in alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
- Manage workplace relations in matters related to health and safety.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff and management on occupational health and safety concerns.
- Contribute to incident investigations, plant-wide safety audits, and the creation and enforcement of corrective actions and emergency protocols.
- Lead employee training sessions on safety, environmental, and health-related topics.
- Enter and maintain accurate health and safety data in digital tracking systems.
- Conduct inspections of machinery, tools, and workplace infrastructure to identify risks or compliance gaps.
- Consult up-to-date safety regulations and best practices.
- Perform assessments of working conditions and environment.
- Compile detailed incident and compliance reports, including documentation required for government agencies (e.g., CNESST).
- Lead the site's Health & Safety Committee.
- Carry out any other related tasks as needed to support a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in a health and safety position, ideally within a manufacturing company.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety
- Familiarity with BRC or ISO standards
- Proficient in both English and French.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Energetic, solution-oriented, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge and experience in handling CNESST claims or equivalent occupational health authority.
