Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist located in Montreal, QC. The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe workplace. Day-to-day tasks include conducting workplace safety assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing and delivering safety training, and investigating incidents to identify root causes and preventive measures. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of health and safety within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Workplace Safety
  • Experience with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and procedures
  • Proficiency in developing and conducting Safety Training programs
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred
  • Certification in EHS or related safety programs (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus
  • Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC, and adapt to a dynamic work environment
