Job Summary

We're hiring an iOS Developer Co-op focused on building and refining high quality iOS and macOS applications. You will help design, implement, and ship features used in real world clinical and imaging workflows.

You will work on making our apps better: improving performance, stability, and usability, integrating with our shared C++ core, fixing bugs, and delivering polished, reliable experiences across Apple platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high quality iOS and macOS applications using Swift and related frameworks
  • Write clean, well documented, and production ready code
  • Implement unit tests to ensure reliability, edge case coverage, and long term stability
  • Integrate mobile and desktop apps with our shared C++ core library
  • Debug, optimize, and improve application performance across Apple platforms
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile team
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Swift and Objective-C

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Graphics, Core Animations, GCD, etc
  • Familiar with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Familiar with Agile development environment
  • Having iPhone/iPad apps in the App Store is a plus
  • Self-motivated, and good teamwork skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Good scoping and estimation skills
  • You are resourceful, a fast learner and curious about the latest tech and industry trends
