Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Retail Operations Advisor, C-Store /Gas Bar on a permanent basis on our Petroleum Sales & Operations team.


This position is a remote opportunity and is based in Vancouver lower mainland or Okanagan, BC and requires approximately 60% travel throughout southern BC.

Do you have strong relationship building skills and experience in store operations? We are looking for a business and interpersonal savvy professional to provide support and guidance to local Co-op's gas bar and c-store operations. If this resonates with you, apply today

What you'll do:

  • You will provide support and advice to local Co-ops regarding their gas bar/c-store/car wash/propane business operations, marketing, financials, facility design and development, and training.

  • You will help local Co-ops identify areas of opportunity and develop project plans, gather and analyze data, and complete proposals.

  • You will build strong relationships with local Co-op leaders to foster trusting and valuable collaboration between FCL and local Co-ops.

  • You will help guide training and development for local Co-op team leaders and their teams.

Who you'll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with other Operations Advisors and report into the Operations Manager, Petroleum. This team strives to maintain an action-oriented, customer driven, and collaborative culture.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Energy business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as local co-op C-Store & Gas Bar teams.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Have 6+ years of relevant experience in the retail industry. Preference for convenience, food, restaurant background; fuel background would be an asset.
  • Have a Bachelor of Commerce degree (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).

What we offer:

  • Salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 annually, short-term incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
