Job Description
We are currently seeking an Associate to join our Personal Injury group at our downtown office. This role involves handling legal strategy, advocacy, and high-level decision-making needed to move a case towards settlement or trial. Key Responsibilities
- Working on Personal Injury files
- Knowledge of other litigation files
- Ability to represent clients professionally in court and in front of tribunals
- Formulating detailed files and take the best actions to complete files
- Perform proper due diligence to attain all relevant information for files
- Develop and maintain superior relationships with clients and other team members
- Understand client needs to achieve the best outcome for their situation
- Act in the best interest of clients
- Communicate with clients, before, during, and after receiving
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards
- Handle caseloads from beginning to end
The Ideal Candidate has…
- A strong attention to detail
- An ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Sound judgement, along with the ability to understand different perspectives
- An ability to provide superior service to clients
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Personal Injury lawyer
- Membership of the BC BAR and in good standing
- Experience in delegation is preferred
Salary
$120,000 – $140,000
