Daily Responsibilities
:

  • Creating and maintaining automated test frameworks, test cases, for a variety of programs. Automating business processes to increase productivity.
  • Design, lead, plan, and execute program test strategy
  • Identify and track program testing milestone
  • Implement QE best practices across WGs
  • Organize and review automation test cases across WGs to
  • ensure robust automation and regression testing for the
  • program
  • Develop E2E integrated test plan and identify optimization
  • opportunities across WGs testing
  • Accountable for Shift left test initiatives and identifying more
  • opportunities for shift left
  • Review and contribute to the key testing deliverables such as
  • cross functional testing Test Coverage, Traceability E2E Test
  • Design, E2E Test Execution etc.
  • Manage and coordinate all testing activities at the WG level
  • Provide inputs to program test reports, i.e. review, update
  • and confirm to ensure cohesive reporting from QE
  • Implement and automate program level defect reporting
  • process and practice
  • Design and standardize defect management process
  • Manage, coordinate and execute defect management for the program
  • Support appropriate reporting needs for tacking testing milestones.
  • Facilitate escalation, prioritization and resolution of incidents raised during testing activities.

What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role?

  • Experience in a variety of development languages like Python, Java, etc.
  • Experience with testing tools e.g., (Postman, JMeter).
  • Hands-on experience in automation script development using Python in data analysis (e.g. Pandas).
  • Working knowledge of automation tools and frameworks. (Robot Framework, Selenium, Python, Request Library).
  • Experience with test case management and reporting tools
  • (qTest)

Must have skills:

  • Demonstrated strength in communicating to diverse audiences including individual contributors and cross-functional teams, with proven ability to facilitate productive discussions across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Proficient in preparing and presenting formal reports and documentation.
  • Hands-on coding experience coding in Java, Python, or C# programming languages.
  • Test Automation/Development background, including Test Automation framework design and implementation.
  • Good knowledge of industry practices with a focus on Agile, DevOps, environments, test integration.
  • Experience working with CI/CD (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
  • Working knowledge of mainstream version control systems, such as Git or GitHub
  • Knowledge of Groovy, REST API, Postman, Selenium, JSON
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for defect and test case management, test reporting, and other functions.
  • Experience working with databases (SQL).

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience developing Bash shell scripts, Powershell scripts, XML objects.
